Leonard Nash, MFA received a Florida Book Award Silver Medal for his short story collection, You Can’t Get There from Here (Kitsune Books, 2007). His creative work has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies including the South Dakota Review, The Seattle Review, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Gulf Stream Magazine, Fort Lauderdale Magazine, Palm Circle Press Short Story Anthology 2021, 15 Views of Miami, and FLASH! Writing the Very Short Story. Nash has taught creative writing at Florida International University (FIU), the Florida Center for the Literary Arts at Miami Dade College, the Sanibel Island Writers Conference, and elsewhere. As a consultant, he has edited and contributed to novels, memoirs, textbooks, newspaper and magazine articles, dissertations, and a wide array of professional documents. As a Visiting Research Associate in the FIU College of Business from 2016 to 2020, he designed and taught Advanced Business Communication and Executive Skills Development for the Department of Global Leadership and Management, and he assisted FIU's President Emeritus with the creation and delivery of the Chapmanville Leadership Development Program. He lives near the beach in Hollywood, Florida.
